New to Church?

00 Welcome
Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.

Some key information ...

Where & when does the church meet?
Our Church meets every Sunday at 9:30am for our Sunday Morning Service.  Please aim to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and to take your seat in time for the service to start.  For other services, please see our Sunday Services page.

We meet at:

St Alban's Church or The Stables
Church Lane

You can see a map on our contact us page

There is a car park behind The Stables (our Church Hall). This parking is limited but parking is also avaliable on the surrounding roads.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be praise and notices before the children and young people leave for their own groups, in The Stables (our Church Hall, right beside the church).  The service in church will continue with more worship, prayers and the sermon.

Tea, coffee and biscuits (and sometimes cake !!) are served after the service when there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.
What happens to the children and young people at church?
We have a fantastic programme for the children and young people, aged 0 - 14,  who come to Church. Children stay with their parents/carers at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together.  Someone will announce when the children need to go to their programme.  If you have a small child, please head over to The Stables with the other children, young people and adult leaders.

For more information about what we have planned for the children please visit our Sunday Club page.
Is there a dress code?
No !  Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not if you don't wish to !!
You are free to simply observe or to participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
