Organisations we support
As a church we support a number of Christian mission organisations that do important work in serving God locally, nationally and internationally. We support some of them financially and we also focus on praying for one each month in our church services.
Mission of the Month
Jan
Gideons
(Tunbridge Wells Branch) whose mission is to give everyone the chance to discover God in a personal way by making Bibles available to everyone free of charge.
Feb
International Mission to Jewish People
(previously named Christian Witness to Israel) which is
a UK-based Society committed to reaching out to Jewish people in the UK, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Israel.
Mar
Sussex Gospel Partnership
which is a partnership of bible-centred churches in Sussex working together to train leaders, strengthen and plant churches, and advance the gospel.
Apr
Mission Aviation Fellowship
is an international Christian organisation whose mission is to fly light aircraft to bring help and hope to people in some of the world's most remote and poorest communities.

Christian Institute
is a non-denominational Christian charity committed to upholding the truths of the Bible.

Bible Society
is a non-profit organisation, usually ecumenical in makeup, devoted translating, publishing and distributing the Bible at affordable costs.

CrossTeach
(Tunbridge Wells team) whose mission is to teach about the Christian faith in schools.

World in Need
work with children, families and communities, seeking to overcome poverty by providing educational opportunities and supporting a variety of projects, in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, regardless of religion, race, ethenicity or gender.

Langham Partnership
which nurtures training in biblical preaching, creates and distributes evengelical literature and seeks to strengthen the theological training of pastors and leaders.

Diocesan Association for FSW
(Family Support Work) which provides emotional and practical support to families in need, including listening, advice, advocacy, food parcels, support groups and play activities, continuing to help the family until they get back on their feet.

Tear Fund
is a Christian relief and development agency which has worked in over 50 countries, supporting those in poverty and providing disaster relief for disadvantaged communities.

Release International
is a Christian ministry that helps people to engage with their persecuted brothers and sisters around the world, by praying with them, by responding to their practical needs and by learning lessons of true Christian discipleship with them.

We have sent shoe boxes filled with goodies to Eastern Europe, as part of the Family and Elderly
Shoebox Appeal
organised by Link to Hope. Link to Hope’s aim is to combat poverty and give humanitarian aid and has special concern for the most disadvantaged. Their vision is that one day every person in Eastern Europe will have a safe environment to live in and access to basic healthcare, human rights, employment and education.
