Open all day .....
St Alban's Church in Frant is open every day during day-light hours.
You are very welcome to pop in for a quiet time, or for personal prayer.
We have a Prayer Request Box.
This is located on the ledge at the front of the second block of pews on the left as you enter through the front door of the church.
Requests may be for any matter of concern. Names of individuals for whom prayers are requested or the names of the people making the requests do not have to be recorded, but may be, if you wish. A brief description of the situation would enable us to pray in a meaningful way.
A small group meets after the church service on Sunday mornings in the Children's Chapel, They pray for the people and situations as requested through the prayer request box.
They are also willing to pray with you in person, if you would like that. Please make yourself known to one of the sidespeople and they will introduce you to the relevant people.
A small group of people meets in the church on Wednesday mornings, starting at 10:00 am, and lasting for about 45 minutes or so. Our time together usually includes a short Bible Study and a time of prayer. We pray for the life of the church, people we know who need support through a difficult time or for specific situations either at home or overseas. We also offer prayers of thanksgiving as and when we enjoy good things in our lives and in the lives of those around us !
Once a month (usually the first Wednesday of the month) this time of prayer and fellowship becomes a traditional Communion Service in accordance with the Book of Common Prayer.
Up to date information on our calendar.
Also once a month, usually on the Monday following the Family Service, there is a Prayer Meeting at 8:00pm in The Stables Flat, Church Lane, Frant TN3 9DX. This is open to everyone.

Our prayer for the vacancy
Father God, we ask for the presence of your Holy Spirit to guide this parish. Keep us steadfast and united in love; patient and tolerant with one another as we await the arrival of our new Rector. Send to each one of us the gifts of wisdom, knowledge and discernment in the coming days, that we may be equipped to sustain your work in this parish during the vacancy …..
….. and on into the future too.
