What is Christianity?

Please go to ourchannel for our online services

to our      page for our online services plus youth and children's work.

Latest information, as at 7th August 2020:

Following the Government’s decision to allow churches to re-open for public worship, we are able to resume services in church,
albeit with restrictions.
We have to make sure that everything we do is done safely, so we have taken time to plan and make arrangements to move forward slowly and carefully.

Services will be held on Sundays at 9:30am in St Alban’s Church, Frant.
During August, these will be “said” services of readings and prayers,
without singing or children's work.

NB.  During August, our main service will continue online,
at 9:30am on YouTube and Facebook,
and can be watched at any time after that.

We are taking Government guidelines and Church of England advice very seriously,
as we recognise that in order to safely meet to worship,
it will inevitably mean changes in how we do things.

To let you know what it will be like when you arrive at church:

  • You may need to queue to get in (2 meters apart)
  • We will need to note down your name and contact details as you come in (for contact tracing).
  • You will need to sanitise your hands as you arrive
  • You will need to wear a mask in church (this is now legal requirement for churches)
  • You will need to remain socially distanced (2 metres) including space for others to use aisles
  • After the service we will not be able to stay and chat

Please follow the advice and comply with the requests of the sidespeople
on duty on Sunday mornings.

NB.  The church will not be open at any other time on Sundays.
This is because of the need to carry out rigorous cleaning after each “event”.

However, the church will continue to open
for individual private prayer
on Wednesdays:  9:00am to 2:00pm

In order to fulfil Government guidance,
please comply with the following requirements on Wednesdays:
Be on your own.
Use the hand sanitiser.
Stick to the marked-out areas and pews.
Keep 2 metres distance from other people at all times.

NB.  If you develop symptoms and have been in church,
please contact the Rector:
email:  rectoryfrant@gmail.com
telephone:  01892 752003
