Funerals

Caring pastorally for people is an important part of life at St Alban’s Church.

This is particularly so at a time of arranging a funeral of a loved one.

We are here to help, support and guide you through your loss, and perhaps despair, at this difficult time, by offering to support you in practical, emotional and spiritual ways.

Please do
contact us if you would like us to help you through all that is involved.

If you would like to find out more, please have a look at the Church of England website

Planning your Visit

A Warm hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Our Service

The main service in Frant is 9.30am -10.30am.

Reverend Brendan opens the service and there is a mix of bible readings, sermons, prayer, and singing.

Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.

Church Building

What can children do?

We have a fantastic programme for children aged 0–14.... and our very own Festival Church.

Morning service:

Children stay with the grown-up for the first part of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together.  The speaker will make it clear when and where children need to go for their programmes.  You do not need to go with your children unless they are pre-school age.  The children will have great fun playing games, and learning about God in a way that is tailored to their age group

The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play. Please pick your children up as soon as the service finishes.
