Pastoral Care and Support:

Caring pastorally for people is an important part of the life of St Alban’s Church.
As a church, we believe that everyone is within the love of God.
We aim to provide loving and practical pastoral care for every member of our church family and across our community.
At times we all encounter struggles in life or have to face some crisis that is difficult to cope with.

If you are facing one of these times and would like someone to talk to about it then please contact
Rev Brendan Martin
(01892 752003)

You can rest assured that your conversation with Brendan will be handled with sensitivity and in total confidence.
NB.  Please do say if you would prefer to have your conversation with one of our ladies.
Brendan can arrange that for you.

Planning your Visit

A Warm hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Our Service

The main service in Frant is 9.30am -10.30am.

Reverend Brendan opens the service and there is a mix of bible readings, sermons, prayer, and singing.

Sometimes there is an opportunity to receive prayer at the end of the service.

Church Building

What can children do?

We have a fantastic programme for children aged 0–14.... and our very own Festival Church.

Morning service:

Children stay with the grown-up for the first part of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together.  The speaker will make it clear when and where children need to go for their programmes.  You do not need to go with your children unless they are pre-school age.  The children will have great fun playing games, and learning about God in a way that is tailored to their age group

The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play. Please pick your children up as soon as the service finishes.

Festival church - 4-5pm in the Rectory paddock (next door to the church)

This is an all-ages service held outside in our brand new tipi. Bring a chair, grab a thermos/drink/snack and join us for live music, teaching, discussion, and prayers. No need to book adults, just come along.

Festival church kids

This is our Forest School style Sunday School, with Bible stories around the fire, discussion, songs, woodland crafts and more.
It is run by trained Forest School (level 3) practitioners. Spaces are limited for all children, so you will need to sign up your child.
